For Faculty
The Faculty Resources tab has been created to provide faculty access to materials and resources designed to enhance teaching and to keep you informed of any new developments in academics or academic technology. Faculty can use this section to upload handouts, podcasts, weblinks, or other information they'd like to share with their colleagues.
-
For Students
The Academics tab is where each school, and some academic departments, have their own pages. Academic Schools and departments can use these areas to upload handouts, podcasts, weblinks, or other information they'd like to share with their students.

Good to Know
-
The GullNet server is set to timeout at 60 minutes. This means if you're logged in and not actively working in GullNet, you'll be logged out at 60 minutes and may lose your work. Also note that GullNet access and network speeds can vary from off campus depending on the network you're working from (Comcast XFinity, Verizon FiOS, etc.) Please plan accordingly.

We recognize that Endicott students, faculty, and staff may use different Internet browsers. For the best user experience on GullNet, we recommend
Internet Explorer 8, Firefox or Safari
.
Where's my Course?!
If your course seems to have disappeared from your "My Courses" Quick Links, click the "Find Courses" tab at the top and use the drop down menu to access "Past Courses". All GullNet courses are tied to a particular term (e.g. FA12 UNDG) and go by the offical dates that the term runs. If a course is listed under a term but the course actually runs past the end of the term and cross over into the next term, these courses stop being "Current Courses" and disappear from "My Courses" 15 days after the previous term's end date.
If/when this happens,
they're considered "Past Courses" in GullNet and can be found there.
Text not displaying in Forums posts
|
If your text does not display after you've posted something in Forums, it may be your browser.
If you are using Internet Explorer 9 (IE9), you should use the compatibility feature which allows
IE9 to work with some websites it has trouble with. Just click on the blue icon that looks like a
torn piece of paper to the right of the URL box, as shown in the picture below, and the Forums
postings should show up.

Opening MS Office docs in Internet Explorer
|
If you use Internet Explorer and try to open a Microsoft Office file
(Word, PPT, Excel) in GullNet, you may see a popup box like this:
|
|

|
|
Just click "cancel" and the file will open. This should only happen the
first time you open a document during that GullNet session.
